From Talli Saturday night:
Good effort this afternoon! We’ve made a fine start 📷:) Thanks to everyone who invested in their character and the world of the play, and even took some risks! The work you put in really shows and it is a pleasure to see!
Please read the schedule thoroughly and be rigorous about being on time and ready to go when you’re called. The less time and energy Mr. Franz and I spend wrangling people, the more we all will have for making the show as full, deep, and rich as it can be.
Monday - 9:00-5:00
We will be working through the entire show, stopping and starting to clean up lights, sound cues and transitions. When we get to a song and/or dance number we will either run it and then go back and clean, or we will clean the cues and then run the number.
We will try to run things full-out only once, but you may be asked to repeat certain sections several times.
This may feel like a long slow day, but everyone can contribute to it going as quickly and smoothly as possible by staying aware of what’s going on onstage and when you might be needed. If you are involved with a transition we’re working on, please stay attentive and ready to respond until it is clear that we are moving on. If you are involved in the scene or number following the one being worked on, please stay attentive and ready to make your entrance. Doing both of these things will be very helpful for keeping things moving along.
